Acceptance of Terms

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Young Crafts Academy (“YCA”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) website, classes, camps, and related services. By using our website or enrolling in any YCA programme, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

These Terms apply to parents, guardians, students, schools, and any other users of our services. We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time, and continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

Services

Young Crafts Academy provides instructor-led coding and technology education for children, including but not limited to:

  • Live online coding classes for students in Nepal and abroad.
  • In-person classes at our Kathmandu learning centre.
  • Seasonal coding camps, including summer and winter programmes.
  • School partnership programmes and teacher training.
  • Free trial classes and curriculum consultations.

Course availability, schedules, and formats are subject to change. We will notify enrolled families of any material changes whenever possible.

Registration and Accounts

Our programmes are designed for children typically in Grade 1 to Grade 10 (ages 6 to 16). Students under the age of 18 must have the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian to enrol. By enrolling a child, the parent or guardian represents that they have the authority to do so and agrees to be bound by these Terms.

You are responsible for maintaining the accuracy of the information provided during registration and for keeping any account credentials secure. Please notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account.

Payments and Refunds

  • Enrolment is confirmed only after the required payment or deposit has been received, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
  • Fees are outlined at the time of enrolment and are subject to change for future terms.
  • Payments may be accepted via bank transfer, mobile wallets, or other methods made available by YCA.
  • Failure to pay fees by the due date may result in suspension or cancellation of the student's enrolment.
  • Free trial classes may be cancelled or rescheduled with reasonable notice at no charge.
  • For paid programmes, refund eligibility depends on the programme type and timing of cancellation. Please refer to the specific enrolment confirmation or contact us for details.
  • Refunds, where approved, are typically processed within 14 business days using the original payment method.
  • YCA reserves the right to cancel a class or camp due to low enrolment or unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, affected families will be offered a full refund or credit toward a future programme.

Intellectual Property

All YCA curriculum, lesson materials, logos, branding, website content, and proprietary tools are the intellectual property of Young Crafts Academy or its licensors. Students retain ownership of the original projects they create during classes, but grant YCA a non-exclusive licence to use those projects for promotional, educational, and portfolio purposes unless we are explicitly requested not to.

Code of Conduct

YCA is committed to providing a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environment. All students, parents, and guardians agree to:

  • Treat instructors, staff, and fellow students with respect.
  • Not engage in harassment, bullying, discrimination, or disruptive behaviour.
  • Use YCA materials and platforms only for educational purposes.
  • Follow all reasonable instructions provided by instructors and staff.

YCA reserves the right to suspend or terminate a student's participation for violations of this Code of Conduct, without refund, where appropriate.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Young Crafts Academy shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with the use of our services or website. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by the user for the specific programme or service giving rise to the claim.

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The most current version will be posted on this page with the updated date. Continued use of our website or services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
