Most children can start coding at around age 6, in Grade 1, with Scratch, where they build games by snapping blocks together. From about Grade 5, they can move on to typing real code in Python. YCA teaches Grade 1 to 10 (age 6 to 16) and groups students by grade and skill, so every child learns at the right pace.
